St Johns Museum is a Jacobean mansion which
houses a toys, dolls and games collection which will
keep your kids occupied for a while. The house
also contains the Royal Regiment of Fusiliers
Museum. This charts the history of the
6th Foot (Royal Warwickshire
Regiment). Formed in 1674 the museum takes you right
up the modern fusilier in action. |

The Royal Regiment of Fusiliers Museum was
opened at St John's in 1961 by Marshall
Viscount Montgomery of Alamein in 1961. It
tracks the history of the Sixth of Foot (The
Royal Warwickshire Regiment) through to the
present day.
There's lots to see and do in this museum
including life sized exhibits. Medals,
weapons, equipment and memorabilia are all
here. |

The ground floor which houses the St. John's is
accessible for wheelchairs. The upper floor which is
the The Royal Regiment of Fusiliers Museum is not
accessible because it has stairs leading to it.
