The Mill Garden is a couple of minutes walk from the
Castle and well worth a visit. Right next to the old
bridge which is now impassable, the gardens were on
the main route through Warwick.
The Mill Cottage dates back to the late 1400s
with the original building being constructed in
1398. It was the house for the original bridge
keeper. |

The gardens are kept by Julia and David
Russell and they will be happy to answer any
questions you about the plants or the
history of the area. Careful planting
ensures that the garden is full of interest
for almost all of the year.
Opening times are 1st April through to
31st October every day from 9am to 6pm.
Entrance is only £1.50 for adults with
children being free. |

This is an oasis of calm away from the
hustle and bustle of Warwick town. As you wander round the
gardens, take a good look at the historic old bridge and
admire the river views and the towering walls of Warwick
Castle. There is a free guide leaflet given on entry. If you
buy the larger official guide it contains lots more historic
information and planting plans for the garden.
